AUTUMN WINTER 2024

For Autumn Winter 2024, 16Arlington’s Marco Capaldo draws on writer Charlie Fox’s exhibition My Head is a Haunted House, a house-of-horrors journey through the beauty of the monstrous. “Sometimes darkness has more depth than light,” says Capaldo. Staged in the Barbican’s Curve – its first use as a runway – models emerge from shadow into beams of light, wearing black gowns, optical illusion organza, croc and ostrich leather. Twill tailoring and fine rib knits meet animalistic details, while Lynchian chevrons slice through outerwear. Closing looks – a procession in silver – glimmer like moonlit bathers.
