Beginning with rehearsals in Paris in March 2024, the process involved a deep study of the dancers—observing their movements and interactions to identify key contact points on the body. These insights informed the precise placement of printed gradients and 3D-printed elements.
The 3D details, designed to resemble sweat droplets, were individually printed in bio-resin, each panel taking up to 12 hours to complete.
The bodysuits were conceived as second skins, with tonal gradients that evoke the soft touch of moonlight on the body. George Rouy enhanced the texture and depth, working with charcoal powder to add a further layer of complexity.
A special mention to each of the dancers: Clyde Emmanuel Archer, Darren Devaney, Juan Gil, Alice Godfrey and Johnny McMillan.
The visionary live work will tour globally throughout the 2025.
